watched "dangerous beauty" with my mom.

one of the best parts of the movie was near the beginning, when veronica was being trained by her mother to become a courtesan in the same way she was trained by her mother before.

my mother turned it into a lesson for her daughter; "do you know why all the men want her? because she is intelligent." i find THAT a bit hard to believe. :D

another scary thing off the movie: "a woman's greatest and most hard-won asset is an education." one of the things taken for granted by many, including me.
